Final Illustration for Resurgence and Ecologist article

I did not like my final Illustration for this article because I thought it was a little too simplistic and felt like it wasn't up to the expectations I had hoped for. After some thought I decided to change my article because I felt like I couldn't get a good feel for the story of the article and it just seemed to simplistic in my eyes. I felt that with a different article I would be able to achieve something more hand rendered based, in doing so I researched further in the Resurgence and Ecologist article, and decided I wanted to use watercolours. I did some experiments with the paints. After experimenting with watercolours, I realised I didn't have much control with watercolours, I then moved over to trying acrylic, in doing so I found it was a lot easier to control. Planning an Illustration from 3 different articles.

A few weeks ago we were asked to create an Illustration for an article, we had the choosing from 3 articles, 'Resurgence and Ecologist,' 'North Coast 500' and 'Ambition and Illustration.'
